- 24-hour helpline: CaringKind offers 24-hour helplines both via telephone and email, which can be utilised for information, resources and emotional support regarding living with Alzheimer’s disease.
- Consultation and education: Social workers from CaringKind provide personalized consultations for families and individuals dealing with dementia and Alzheimer’s. These consultations may be in person (in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and Staten Island), or through phone/email. They also offer training programs that help deal with Alzheimer’s for both family caregivers and professional caregivers.
- Resources: CaringKind organizes support groups in multiple languages, provides an online tool to locate local resources such as diagnostic centers, and offers a home delivered meal program for those with dementia and their caregivers.
Caregivers and Early stage center: CarkingKind facilitates the hiring of private caregivers by posting profiles of their training program graduates. Their early stage center provides counseling, education and other services to families or individuals dealing with Mild Cognitive Disorder or early stages of Alzheimer’s.
Wanderer’s Safety Program: CarkingKind offers a nationwide emergency response service in case your loved ones are missing or found.
